Starless Skies: This song is loosely based on the dystopian novel 1984 by George Orwell. What sounds like a traditional song about lost love, we see a politically divided pair in a world tearing away at individualism and free thought within a synthetic society. The listener takes a trip mired in an Oceania-like reality as the quest for knowledge ultimately leads to separation.
