1.
Empire Land – Lyrics: With secret signs and ritual, the world above has gone below. See history wears so many masks, the shadow world remains undead. All eyes that see, a synchronicity, cascading thoughts and memories. These hidden times, the dark mystery, symbols that live among machines So here we are in empire land, the glow, the grime that never ends.
2.
Days Of Zero – Lyrics: So you think what you see in this world is real. Hidden hands sell a scene so you can feel. A silent war that's closing in, the secret ways deception lives. You know those stolen days are here. Those Days of Zero. A hall of mirrors plays pretend. Stripped down to the exploits in the end. Carving out these fragile times, system schemes and sabotage. You know those stolen days are here.
3.
Starless Skies – Lyrics: We were side by side, well take a look at us now. When distance is an ocean, you see your pain realized. In the sinking aftermath, the echoes flood your mind. Was it all an illusion to take us on a ride? Starless skies are overhead. The falling dark is here again. On a silent stage we wear a mask in doubt. We've had our share of blame, so what's the point of it now? You've uncovered all the details, the secrets speak out loud. History's full of half-truths, when we look around. There's something about this world that I think you should know. There's no escaping, there's no erasing all the things that we hold. There's something about this world that we have to let go.
4.
Coat Of Arms – Lyrics: Feel the crawl of time. As the myth of Aon (All or Nothing) nears. The lessons of our lives are intertwined. Complicated years, living inside fear. You have to break the spell it's all designed. Symbols signaling, deep-seated mastery. Right before your eyes these are the times Revolutions steal, masked by false ideals. A coat of arms controls the paradigm.
5.
Colder Years – Lyrics: An emptiness to close to see. Remember how things used to be. At times were met with false belief. Those colder years hold everything. The stage was set to play the part. Vacant schemes the threat of war. Propped up lies propel the scene. Those colder years hold everything.

about

Memory Mask's Empire Land Rebooted is a reimagining of songs curated from their debut record. The new EP was produced by NYC's post-rock/post-punk act Black Rose Burning, who provided additional instrumentation, new arrangements and production.

Here's some recent press regarding the Empire Land Rebooted EP from Post-Punk Magazine:

"The newly redesigned songs have completely new arrangements and new production that include new guitars, bass, drums, and additional synths. On Empire Land Rebooted, BRB’s Grant has contrasted dream pop-driven guitars with dark bass grooves, packaged in a highly stylized modern production, recalling a 80’s dreamscape veneer. Shades of Killing Joke permeate their sound.

The pair shine on tracks such as Starless Skies – Moondust Reboot, Colder Years – Daylight Reboot and Days of Zero – Nighttime Reboot. Helton’s impassioned vocals are anthemic when juxtaposed against Grant’s shimmering, layered production work. The album’s opener, Empire Land – Revelation Reboot, has elements of funk and dark post-punk that immediately reminds one of Bauhaus and NIN. Coat of Arms – The Ark Reboot harkens back to a Depeche Mode-style track with a memorable, sweeping chorus." - Alice Teeple of post-punk.com
